Skinny Jeans

I think the world is conspiring against me:  I met two great moms today who were ROCKIN' the skinny jeans look.  Me: tattered velour sweatsuit. I could blame the baby, but one of these moms has a 6-month old (Reed is 8 months).  I could blame the doggone Olympics.  Nothing makes me skip my morning workout like staying up late, on my behind, watching other people's athletic prowess. . . . .

Dang it you hot moms out there.  You are making me look bad!

Yeah well, I can't wear my skinny jeans either and my baby is almost 18 months old. Sigh.

I hate skinny moms! :) Ok, I don't hate them, I just hate that I can't pull off the hot skinny mom either! I don't even try on skinny jeans...just the name alone scares me! There are just some women out there that were born skinny, have stayed skinny, and will always be skinny no matter how many babies they pump out or how much they eat! We are just not those women Camilla- we have OTHER talents :) This is my pep talk by the way (to you and myself) :) And you and I CAN ALWAYS blame it on our twins (even though they're all how old now?) :) I love you! Don't worry about rocking your clothes! Rock your family and everything else you are so good at! I love you!

I'm right there with you in the velour sweatsuit. I blame winter, especially winter in the Midwest!

Trust me. I have not come to terms with my post partum wardrobe. I envy those moms who get super skinny with nursing too. I tend to hold on to some extra pounds until I am done nursing. Sigh.

If it makes you feel better, I will never ever wear skinny jeans.
