Can't understand that one

I went to go renew my books online (due today), and the one book that I couldn't renew was an old, worn out BOARD BOOK called Boats. Then I asked myself, "Why would someone put a hold on a board book?"

Now I need to run all the books back to the library tonight in order to dodge a fine on a book reserved for a baby.

hahaha! The weirdest things huh? Of course if you checked it out it must be worth reserving right? Renew books online. Holey canolies...never heard of that. I live under a rock obviously.

If it's new mom, she's gonna be a mother bear and make SURE she gets ALL the baby board books in the library! That's my bet, anyway!

I also think it must be a new mom. One who over estimates her child's need to read about boats. I also have to say that the nets on the side of that boat look like grenades. And what's that white thing coming out of the water at the front of the boat?

James used to love a train book by the same guy. But I've never put a board book on hold.

At my library, they give you a couple days grace period to return a book that you tried to renew online but weren't able to because of a hold. You should ask about that. It might save you a late night trip to the library!
